Free D&D Soundboard for Your Table
DND Music is a free D&D soundboard for game masters. It gives you 20 scenes for tabletop RPG sessions. Each scene is a mix of ambient sounds and music, ready in one click. There is nothing to download and nothing to install. It runs in your browser, on a laptop, tablet, or phone.
Pick a scene when the party enters a tavern, a dungeon, or a swamp. The sound starts right away and sets the mood. You can also turn on single sounds, like rain or crowd noise, and layer them over a scene. Use it as a quiet background track during roleplay, or bring it up loud for a boss fight.
How to use it at the table
- Open dndmusic.net on any device with a browser.
- Pick a scene that matches the moment, such as Tavern or Dungeon.
- Click the scene. The music and ambient sounds start together.
- Turn individual sounds up or down, or add extra sounds from the sound list.
- Switch scenes as the story moves, or stop playback when the scene ends.

Tips for running sound at the table
Set the volume low at first. Raise it only if the table can still hear you.
Start the scene before the players walk in, not after you describe it.
Switch scenes early. A late switch breaks the moment instead of building it.
Layer one or two extra sounds only. Too many at once turns into noise.
Mute the scene during long rules discussions, then bring it back for the next beat.
Test your scene picks before the session, so you are not searching mid-game.
